The Friends of Garway Church offer guided tours of St. Michael’s with a detailed history of the church. There are many original features which can be seen within the church and the exterior walls.
In addition to the church tour, it may be possible to include a visit to the dovecote, situated on private property adjacent to the church. The dovecote was built by the Knights Hospitallers and finished in 1326 and is considered one of the best preserved in the country.
To make your visit even more enjoyable, The Friends offer refreshments with home baked cakes in the new Community Hall.
